1st Ever Afghan Pool/Billiard Tournament in Toronto,
Canada
Canadian Afghan Sports Association organizes a variety
of tournaments every year such as soccer, basketball,
volleyball, chess and ping-pong.
On Saturday Feb.20.2010 CASA organized the 1st ever
afghan Pool/Billiard tournament in Toronto, Canada. A
total of 32 players participated in this tournament
which was a very successful event. The players were from
across the GTA including Kitchener, Oshawa. In the
final/championship game, Sajad Gulestani faced Safi
Murtaza.

Canadian Afghan Cup 2010 Indoor (Soccer)
Once
again the Canadian Afghan Sports Association (CASA)
organized one of the most competitive Afghan Soccer
Tournament in Toronto, Canada. It was the 3rd Annual
Afghan Indoor Soccer tournament (Canadian Afghan Cup
2010 – Indoor, January 1st & 2nd), which attracted 12
Afghan soccer teams from Greater Toronto & Area, Guelph,
Kitchener, & Montreal.
CASA is very pleased and proud with the professionalism
of all 12 teams- their players, managers, & coaching
staff. The teams showed great respect to the organizers,
to their opponent teams, and to the Afghan crowd (800 –
1000 Afghans). Toronto AFC became the 1st place and
champion of the tournament.

Canadian Afghan Cup 2009 Outdoor (Soccer, Basketball,
Volleyball)
Hundreds to thousands of Afghans from different parts of
Canada & Virginia USA came to “The Hangar at Downsview
Park, Toronto” and “The Hershey SportsZone, Mississauga”
to take part in Canada’s biggest Afghan sporting event
“Canadian Afghan Cup 2009”.
This great event was the 3rd Annual Canadian Afghan Cup
Outdoor, which included sports such as Soccer,
Basketball & Volleyball (Men & Women). The Canadian
Afghan Sports Association (CASA) would like to
congratulate all the teams that participated in this
great event, specially the finalists. Toronto Pamir S.C.
became the Champion of the soccer tournament
